Month O' Monsters: The War of the Worlds

I guess this technically isn't a "monster", but pretty terrifying nonetheless. These tripods were based on a cool old metal water tower in Fairview, Texas that I used to drive by all the time. I would always daydream that the water tower was secretly a robot that would come to life and destroy everything. Sadly, they tore it down recently. What a shame...
